HIIT involves alternating between very intense bouts of exercise and lower intensities. For example, sprint all out for 20 seconds, and then walk for 60 seconds. Interval training burns more total calories because of the intense bursts of work.
You can incorporate HIIT into any form of workout including resistance training circuits.
